𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦: 𝟭𝗦𝗧 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗡 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

The Atimonan Historical Society successfully conducted the 1st Atimonan Book Fair 2024, hailed as the largest literary gathering in Quezon Province. The vibrant event unfolded yesterday, August 4, at Bulawagang Balagtas, Atimonan, Quezon, drawing a diverse crowd of teenagers, adults, exhibitors, and celebrated authors from across the nation. Every nook of the venue buzzed with lively booths, where talented artists and writers proudly displayed their creations. Starting from 8:00 in the morning up to 8:00 p.m. in the evening, the fair offers a spectrum of engaging activities for all attendees to enjoy and partake in.

There was a discussion and book signing for the Bayani Biographies title featuring Andres Bonifacio, published by Kahel Press. Its publisher, Ruth Valorie Wowie Catabijan, is present at the event.

Additionally, Mr. Genaro Ruiz Gojo Cruz, a renowned children's author, also talks about how to write a Kwentong Pambata. It's a pleasure to meet the organizer, Pepot Atienza, an illustrator for children's books.

Moreover, our very own, Tayabasin, Mr. Ryan J. Palad, a prominent historian from Quezon, who recently delved into bookselling with RJP: Tayabas Books / Souvenir Shop, is present and has its own booth where anyone can avail some of the books related to the life and works of our local hero, Apolinario Dela Cruz a.k.a Hermano Puli.

Also, Mr. Xiao Chua (Michael Charleston Chua Historian), had a talk about Kasaysayan attended by various teachers and historical teaching practitioners all over Quezon; and some of the authors like Mitzi G. Canaya, Atimonan Book Author; young authors - Yna at Yva Cabredo-Balacano; Ruth Valorie Catabijan, Business Development Manager ng Kahel Press; Jane Vergara, book author, and many more. Performers from PIntakasi and a theater act Workshop were also held during the day.

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀!
